Bitburger Open in Germany this week, the best result from the english players was Andrew Ellis and Chris Adcock reaching the final in the mens doubles. They lost a very close fought to the Indian pair who were number 1 seeds Kumar and Thomas 17-21 22-20 24-22, a game lasting 67 minutes.

Carl Baxter put in a good performance reaching the semi's of the mens singles losing to the second seed.
The weekend produced some closely fought games and overall I would say a good weekend for the english players.
